If there was ever something I needed to read this morning it was this. The reassurance that seeking and giving kindness is -not- narcissism. It is my hope that the day will come that I don’t question my own motivations to do good and be kind. I cannot wait to remember that empathy is something to be cherished and not a trait to be feared and abused.

Some days, I find that comes naturally. Days like today require a reminder to give me a boot up the empathy butt! Thank you for that boot, Zita Fontaine!
